Q: How long will I have to stay?
A: An average stay is between 2-3 weeks.
Q: How is my laundry handled?
A: Laundry can be handled in two ways. Your family may take it home or we can provide laundry services for you.
Q: What is a typical day like?
A: Breakfast is served around 8 am. You will have assistance in getting dressed. Therapy is scheduled at a specific time. Lunch is served around 12 noon. Therapy is again scheduled in the afternoon. Dinner is served around 6 pm. Medication is provided to you throughout the day and you will be visited by your attending physician.
Q: How will I pay for my stay?
A: Most insurances cover subacute care. For example, Medicare and Managed Care.
Q: What should I bring?
A: Everything you need for the hospital. Street clothes and appropriate shoes are needed during therapy time.
Q: What about TVs and phones?
A: Flat screen TV’s are supplied to our short-term rehab patients, and all rooms have cable television and phone connections.
Q: Can I get my hair fixed?
A: Yes. We have hairdressers available 3 days a week.
Q: What are the visiting hours?
A: 24 hours a day.
Q: May my guests have a meal with me?
A: Yes. Guest meals are available for a small fee.
